Frequently asked questions
What exactly is Meadow Organic Dunlop Latex Mattress made of and what does that mean for daily use?
It is built with 3 layers of Dunlop organic latex: a 3" base layer, a 3" middle core that can be firm, medium, or soft, and a 3" soft top layer, all wrapped in organic cotton and finished with a wool-filled organic cotton cover. The wool helps with temperature regulation and acts as a natural flame retardant, contributing to a breathable, temperature-balanced sleep surface.
Who would benefit most from Meadow and in what rooms or settings does it fit best?
This mattress is designed for a wide range of body types and sleeping positions and can be customized for different firmness on each side for queen or king sizes. It panels well with adjustable bases and is suitable for bedrooms seeking a completely organic, customizable latex mattress solution.
How does the customization work to adjust firmness levels?
You choose the base layer firmness (3" firm or medium), then the middle 3" layer can be set to firm, medium, or soft, and finally a 3" soft top layer. This setup allows tailoring support and surface feel across different sleeping needs and positions.
What comes in the cover and how does it affect care or daily use?
The mattress is encased in a luxurious organic cotton cover quilted with organic wool, with each latex layer individually wrapped in organic cotton. This combination supports breathability and gentle insulation, helping with temperature regulation and comfort.
Is Meadow compatible with adjustable bases or foundations?
Yes, Meadow is versatile and can be used with an adjustable bed base, allowing you to adjust positions for comfort while maintaining the layered latex construction.
What sizes and firmness options are available for this mattress?
The Meadow offers queen and king sizes with dual firmness available for customization on each side, allowing personalized comfort for two sleepers sharing the bed.
